The Strategy Rubric is a structured tool that helps TRIO practitioners plan and monitor strategic objectives or tasks to implement the proposed strategy for the next 5 years. The template is designed to align actionable efforts of TRIO program strengths and opportunities towards identifiable threats. The goal is to implement tangible steps, each year that enhances programs resources towards continuity and sustainability over time.
The 5‑Year Budget Template is a forward‑looking financial planning tool that helps TRIO programs map out projected costs, funding needs, and resource allocations across multiple fiscal years. It includes categories such as compensation (salaries & fringe benefits), Travel, Supplies, Printing, Communications, Contractual Services, Rent and other miscellaneous program needs.
The Policy Brief Template is a structured outline that guides practitioners in translating complex issues into clear, actionable recommendations for institutional leaders or policymakers. Within TRIO ROOTS, the Policy Brief Template helps directors communicate frontline insights, elevate program needs, and advocate for policies that strengthen access, persistence, and program stability.
